Goodreads description:
Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky — and unending — lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.

It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul.

When a visit to the Tower of London triggers an overwhelmingly real vision of a beheading that occurred centuries before, Cole Ryan fears she is losing her mind. A mysterious boy, Griffon Hall, comes to her aid, but the intensity of their immediate connection seems to open the floodgate of memories even wider.

As their feelings grow, Griffon reveals their common bond as members of the Akhet—an elite group of people who can remember past lives and use their collected wisdom for the good of the world. But not all Akhet are altruistic, and a rogue is after Cole to avenge their shared past. Now in extreme danger, Cole must piece together clues from many lifetimes. What she finds could ruin her chance at a future with Griffon, but risking his love may be the only way to save them both.

Goodreads description:
NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

The Paranormals Blog Tour: Character Interview & Contests!!

GROUP CHARACTER INTERVIEW WITH THE CAST OF
THE PARANORMALS

THE SCENE: A group character interview with main characters from The Paranormals series. The interviewees are Jenny Morton, Seth Barrett, Jenny’s dad Darrell Morton, Tommy, Esmeralda and Alexander. The interview is moderated by Jessi at Reading in the Corner and by Ashleigh Goodling, also a character from the series, who somehow got herself appointed co-moderator.

Ashleigh: Thanks to everyone for coming by and answering just a few questions about yourselves here at Reading in the Corner. We’re sure this is going to be a great group interview. And I just know that my co-moderator, Jessi, is totally awesome and will do whatever I want. You’re a librarian, right, Jessi? That must be so fascinating.

Jessi: Hi, Ashleigh. Indeed being a librarian can definitely be fascinating at times. I wasn’t aware you were going to be my co-moderator today...but somehow I’m not at all surprised. *scoots a little farther away from Ashleigh*

Ashleigh: That’s great, Jessi. Let’s start with a casual get-to-know-you kind of question. Jenny, how do you justify all the horrible things that happen to people whenever you touch them? Would you call yourself a “monster” or an “evil demon”?
Jenny: That’s not really a fair question. I don’t want to hurt anybody. It just kind of happens.
Ashleigh: I’m going to put that down as “ugly monster.” Let’s let Jessi ask the next question. I’m sure she won’t pull from the list of questions I told her not to ask.

Jessi: Yes...of course...Ashleigh! Please don’t touch me! *moves farther away* Let’s stick with some get to know you questions, as Ashleigh suggested. Let’s start with you, Mr. Morton--may I call you Darrell? Darrell, can you tell us about the difficulties of raising Jenny on your own? Being a single parent can definitely be a trying experience and Jenny was a very special child.
Darrell: What you got to understand is that nobody can touch Jenny at all. Not at all. So, as a parent, you got to be careful to wear gloves and all, and on top of that you got to teach her not to hurt nobody. So it ain’t easy. It’ll drive you to drink. But I done my best to take good care of her and teach her right.
Ashleigh: (yawns)

Jessi: Ashleigh, don’t be rude. Jenny, is it difficult to deal with what happened that day in Fallen Oak? Do you think people deserved it?
Jenny: I don’t know if they deserved it. It’s true that everybody was trying to kill me, and they did kill Seth. But I guess they were all being manipulating by the Goodlings. I wish it hadn’t happened like that. I’d give anything to undo it, but you can’t do undo it.
Jessi: Seth, do you feel like a complete jerk after what happened in Charleston?
Seth: Actually, yeah, but I was being manipulated by Ashleigh and her whole Cupid-power thing--
Ashleigh: Notice a pattern, Jessi? Everything bad they do, they blame it right on me. As if I could somehow go around tricking people into doing evil things. Everything’s always my fault. They never take responsibility for their own actions.

Jessi: Well, Ashleigh, there does seem to be a pattern...but I’m not sure that it really speaks well for your role in things. Can you really blame them for feeling a bit manipulated and used?

Ashleigh: *narrows her eyes* I’m not being interviewed here. I’m a co-moderator. Check the paperwork.

Jessi: Ashleigh, dear, you’re not on trial here--we’re just trying to get to know everyone, and I’m sure that many readers here today are curious about your intense animosity towards Jenny...

Ashleigh: You’re right. Let’s shake hands and make friends.

Jessi: Um, no. Esmeralda, Tommy--what’s your take on the Fallen Oak situation and Ashleigh’s role? How did the two of you end up as part of all the craziness happening here?
Tommy: Ashleigh told us what a danger Jenny was, and how evil she was. You see, we’re part of a group, the three of us, we reincarnate, we work together in different lifetimes--
Esmeralda: I love Tommy and Ashleigh both. But my feelings for Tommy are sort of like when you find a little piece of yourself that you lost long ago. And my feelings for Ashleigh are more like...something that consumes you completely.
Jessi: Do you think that Ashleigh’s powers have something to do with those feelings or are they entirely your own? Or, actually, let’s ask someone else who has experienced the effects of Ashleigh’s power. Seth--or even Jenny, since you have experienced her powers indirectly--what are your thoughts on Esmerelda’s feelings? Tell us a little about what it felt like to be under Ashleigh’s spell.
Seth: Esmeralda is delusional. Ashleigh makes you feel love when she touches you. And it’s addictive, it really is. But she’s a horrible person who lies and manipulates and uses everyone around her--
Ashleigh: Next question! We’re almost out of time.

Jessi: Alexander, you seem to have just appeared in Fallen Oak out of nowhere. What made you decide to come to the area from Mexico, where you’ve been living?
Alexander: I came to Fallen Oak in search of Jenny. She and I have been close for thousands of years, lovers for hundreds of lifetimes--
Seth: Hey, back off! Jenny loves me, not you.
Alexander: We’ll see, pretty boy.
Ashleigh: I really don’t see why Jenny is worth fighting over. Somebody should just drown her like an unwanted kitten. Anyway, it looks like our time is running out, and since everybody’s saying nasty things about me for some reason, I think we should wrap this up. I think Angeline Kace needs this room for her character interviews. She’s hogging all the book blogs.

*scene fades to black amidst the shouting and fighting...*
