"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where book bloggers discuss the books that they are most anxiously waiting for! (And this fabulous button was designed by my dear blogger friend Lindsay at The Violet Hour)
This week I'm waiting on...
Daylight Saving by Edward Hogan

Can you save someone from something that’s already happened?
When Daniel Lever is dragged to Leisure World Holiday Complex for some "time away" with his depressed dad, his expectations are low. Daniel is overweight, he hates sport, and his father has brought along his beloved tomato plant. But soon Daniel spots a girl swimming in the fake lake. Lexi is elegant and smart, but very mysterious. Why are her bruises getting worse each time she and Daniel meet? And is her watch really ticking backwards? A dark figure stalks the pair, and as British summer time approaches, Daniel has to act quickly. Their souls depend on it.
Quite some time ago I stumbled across an interactive cover/countdown widget for this book and was quite intrigued, but promptly forgot about it. (I don't even think that I realized that it was a YA novel.) Well, if you're interested in that original image that caught my eye, you can find it HERE. Also, the reason this re-entered by radar? It's on NetGalley! And really, doesn't it sound super interesting? I'm pretty sure that it's already out in the UK.

I really like the sound of this book. The idea of the clock going backwards? So cool. I think I'll be reading this.

Oh great, this sounds like a great book with an intense storyline!! Thanks for sharing and the cover is amazing!!
Ohh...Daylight Saving sounds different and cool :) I have Immortal Rules on my Kindle. I keep trying to get to it but getting sidetracked. I hope it's good! Of your next reads I would choose Breaking Beautiful or the Peculiars, but I haven't read any of them. Those are just the ones I want to read myself. Thanks for commenting on my WOW post. ~Erika @ One A Day Y.A.

Oh wow, this is the first time I have heard about this book but it sounds really good to me! I am already intrigued just by that synopsis. I also love when a main character isn’t the epitome of perfection...I mean let’s face it, we aren’t all built like Gods! I will definitely be adding that one to Goodreads! As for what you should read next, I would LOVE to hear a review of The Peculiars. The cover is crazy gorgeous and the plot sounds interesting enough!

Oh, I haven't heard of this book but I like the cover and it sounds mysterious! I think out of those books, I'd pick Chloe to read next because I heard it was cute. :)
