This week's question:
Q: If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?
I don't watch a lot of TV so this is a really tough question for me! Here's the shows that I've watched recently: Roswell, X-Files, & Buffy.. So, I suppose that we've got a couple of options here. First, I could always throw the Roswell aliens on the ship in Maria V. Snyder's Inside Out/Outside In--hidden aliens among the population, unknown until reveled by the intruders in book 2 and they save the day with their powers even though the Insiders totally don't trust them. Second, we could throw Mulder and Scully into JL Bryan's the Paranormals series alongside the doctors and other federal investigators to attempt to figure out what really happened in Fallen Oak. Third, gosh, throw Buffy and her crew into ANY YA vampire book... So, what do you think? What would you like to see?
I don't read very many REAL spooky books, but when I think of good Halloween season reads, a few titles come to mind. The first is Anna Dressed by Blood by Kendare Blake with its ghosts and creepy haunted house. The second is Dark Eden by Patrick Carman, which is an all-around kind of creepy read about fear. Okay, but you want a book that will really SCARE you, make your skin crawl, because it's absolutely too realistic and scary because it could happen tomorrow? Ashes by Ilsa Bick.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I love your comments and try my best to return follows!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
(PS ~ See that link at the top of the page? The one for my potential 2012 challenge? Would you be so kind as to take a look and leave some feedback? I'd love to get an idea of if this is something that people would be interested in. Or just answer the poll in the sidebar. Thanks!!)

I'm dying to read Dark Eden! I've heard that its a really great book, especially for around Halloween. I also haven't read Anna Dressed in Blood, the title alone has got some spooky points. I love being scared, so they're both books I'll be picking up for sure!

I wanted to read Anna Dressed in Blood this month. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time, though! I think it would be perfect. Maybe, I'll make it my first November book if I can manage it.

I see a lot of vampires in people's answers today... I hadn't even thought of Mulder and Scully as options. I can imagine them in lots of books!
New follower!
I agree that Buffy would be great in any YA vampire book. I've seen quite a lot of people say today that they would love a big showdown between Buffy and a certain group of sparkly vampires! I think that could be fun :)
I'm a new follower :)
LOL I would love to see Buffy challenge all the different kinds of vampires too! There are so many different versions of vamps that it would be pure awesome to see how our fave vampire slayer deals with them! x)
Thanks so much for stopping by, Jessi! I hope you have an amazing weekend! :)
