The casting of Peeta and Gale!
A variety of sources are confirming that the roles have been cast! Are you ready?

Josh Hutcherson (left) has been cast as our beloved Peeta and Liam Hemsworth (right) as Gale!
I personally don't know...well...anything really about these two actors. I'll admit that they don't necessarily look like I imagined these characters to look. Actually, they don't look AT ALL how I imagined these characters, but really, I'm more concerned about their acting abilities. (Oh, and PS~Thank you for not casting Alex Pettyfer) I'm going to *hope* that Suzanne Collins is as happy with these characters as she was with Jennifer Lawrence. If that's the case, then I'll be happy to wait and watch what happens.
Thoughts? Feelings? Love 'em or hate 'em? Who do you want to see cast next?

The age gap looks too wide and neither of them are attractive. I'm sure they're supposed to be the same age, yet Josh looks like a baby and the other guy could be Katniss' Dad.
I'm not sure about Josh.. but Liam looks like he could be a Gale. Rugged, scruffy.. I don't know. I think we just may have to come to terms with the fact that not all book characters are 'OMG gorgeous" lol. I'm going to Google some more photos and do a little IMDB research.
Only a 2 year age gap. These are pretty unflattering photos lol. Not sure why almost every media source chose them. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
The more I look at the actor for Gale, the more I can see it (w/ the dark hair and such.) Still not too sure about the choice for Peeta, but then again, I wasn't in charge of the casting. haha.
I'm hoping these two will grow on me! I was a little disappointed when I saw they were cast but I'll have to wait and see how they do.
